End Sanz-Sex-September

It couldn't last forever.  I made it to the 6th of October...the first Saturday of the month before I broke my streak.  The guy from the taxi ended up texting me back, so surprising!  So, on Saturday night I went over to his place.  Turns out his name is Jonny and he is a pilot with Cathay Pacific and he is from Auckland, New Zealand...sound familiar??  Well, if you are a loyal reader it would, because over the summer I got with a guy named James who is a pilot with Cathay Pacific and is from Auckland, New Zealand, WTF!!!!????!!  (More specificly this was the guy who's hotel room floor I peed on, and yet, he stayed in touch via text afterwards).  I always thought I didn't really have a type, because I've ended up with all kinds of guys, older, younger, asian, western, mostly drunk, haha, but apparently I have a very specific type.  I like guys who are pilots, but only for Cathay Pacific and are from New Zealand, but only Auckland, and have a name that starts with a J.  If those similarities aren't enough, both of these scenarios ended in similar ways, I drunk text who knows what sort of crazy things and then either get myself blocked or delete the contact because I've embarrassed myself too much to ever talk to the guy again.  Oh, well, there are millions of taxis in HK...

So, now its bread-block-tober and i've given up bread...hence the name, it's been way harder, but only a week left!!

Having a Thrilla in Manila

Not sure if you readers have gotten this yet, but I can be quite persistent, so after this rejection, we went to the casino that was a couple floors down, I found a guy (yes a guy, my feet are pretty big and this is Asia) and asked him to trade shoes.  He wasn't too keen at first, but then my friend helped me explain the situation and he reluctantly agreed.  Of course he had his friend take 20 pictures of us before and after the swap...maybe he blogged about it too.  Third time lucky, I got into the club.  The guy from the Black Eyed Peas who is from Manila was there DJing, but I didn't realize it was him and just thought the DJ was jocking his style.  I was having a wonderful time, getting my swerve on, when the owner of the shoes came into the club (he had to borrow his friends shoes to get in), I guess he didn't want to stay up until 6am waiting outside a club, go figure, so I gave him his shoes back and danced barefoot the rest of the night.  Success!!!  (Well, that is about as successful as my nights get, so don't try to take it from me).

Also, here is a picture of the actual shoes that I made, I think they look pretty great!

Sitting Waiting Wishing

So, I did make it to the Philippines, and when I got there I somehow managed to get to the hotel Chester and his family were staying at.  Chester had sent me his cell phone number, but my phone wasn't getting any service.  I talked to the concierge and he called up to Chester's room...but no answer, I had no choice but to live out my hang-over on the couches in the lobby.  I was concentrating on not throwing up on these couches, when a "gentleman" walked up and decided to keep me company.

Soon, after this, I saw Chester arrive outside the hotel and I walked away from this conversation while the guy was mid-sentence, yes, a little rude for a mid-westerner, but I just couldn't take anymore.  After all, I had been waiting in this lobby for about three hours.

Taxi Time

So, in my defense, I was with a big group of people and we needed to split up for cabs from one bar area to another...only no one followed me to this cab, so as I shut the door I realized I was just on my own.  And, yes, I did end up going back to his place...but it was still Sanz-Sex-September, so I didn't have full sex with him, I just gave head, I'm a very respectable girl!!  While in the middle of giving him head a second time, I looked up and realized he was asleep (hello huge blow to my ego) so I got up, got dressed left a note that went like this:

Then, I headed back out to meet my friends.  This was the night before I was to fly to the Philippines to see my good friend Chester from home, who was there visiting family.  I had my bag with me...which consisted of a couple pairs of clean underwear and extra skirt and extra shirt, and I was going to stay out all night and just go the airport in the morning...for my flight that didn't leave until 11am, I make horrible decisions sometimes.  But I did end up finding my friends and stayed with them until 6:30 in the morning, but then they were proper dancing with the two guys left in the bar, and by proper I mean ballroom style, so I thought I would just go ahead an make my way to the airport, I'd hate to miss my flight!!

Manila Mania

So, this weekend I'm going to Manila to meet up with my good friend Chester, he is half Filipino and is there to visit some family, and I have a long weekend and thought i might as well jet-set down and see him while he's in Asia.  After some crazy hassle with buying my flight online that took about three days to sort out I was finally able to acquire a ticket Friday morning after multiple call to multiple call centers back in America to sort out some banking issues.  I was pretty happy just with that, but also on Friday I went to happy hour drinks with my new work peeps.  I haven't worked a 9-5 since Korea, and now I remember why. . .happy hour is kind of a killer.  So we started drinking at 5:30 I didn't get home until 8:30 the next morning, I really just can't stop.  Really, Kelly, 15 hours of drinking???  Is that really necessary?  Really??!!

These are the notables from the evening; after the first bar I went to my friend Jenna's house because it was right around the corner, i didn't want to stop drinking so she offered me some wine, 30 minutes later I cashed that bottle out all by myself and before I left I performed a song and dance for Jenna and Becks about how they were my two favourite friends and I wanted to just hang out with them, but i had to go meet back up with my work friends. . . asking a co-worker where he is from, he says Kentucky, so my response is I really like Paduka, KY, because that's where my favourite waffle house is. . . because we went out right after work I just wore my work clothes, which is jeans and a polo, but i got hot from all my dancing and thought rolling up my jeans, Huck Finn style was the best solution. . .a guy noticed my crazed dancing and said I was like an energizer bunny and bought me some flashing rabbit ears to wear because of this. . .outside the next bar I ran into an old co-worker, so I had some shots and beers with her and her recent fiance and in true mazletof form when i finished my beer i smashed the bottle into the gutter, much to the surprise of the group of guys standing there. . .then i ended up in a bar with a live band, and quickly became obsessed with the Filipino drummer with dread locks down to his knees (I mean I had just that morning booked my ticket to the country, so might as well get a jump start), to show my affection I creepily stood at the front of the stage, alone at this point because I had lost everyone I was with, staring at him and during all of his drumming solos I air drummed right along with him, not my smoothest move, but it worked because I did end up making out with him in the bunk-bed he shared with his band-mate.  No worries though, sanz sex September lives, maybe because of the bunk-bed situation.
